Stopping the Express
This scenario covers an attempt by a high-speed convoy using destroyers to bring supplies and reinforcements to Japanese forces on Guadalcanal. The Allies nicknamed this type of supply run the “Tokyo Express” while the Japanese referred to it as “Rat Transport.” The names stuck and were used to refer to any supply efforts in the Solomon Islands and New Guinea.
